What our services include?
At Clinicare QLD, the Community Nursing Care and High Intensity Support include:
  • Bowel Care & Management: This is designed for people at high risk of severe constipation or faecal incontinence, who need specialised support to help them manage it. We provide specialised support for complex bowel care & tailor a bowel management plan to suit you. Our compassionate staff can assist with practical and professional continence advice and assist with sourcing continence aids and other resources.
  • Urinary catheters & management: Some participants need urinary catheters, including suprapubic, intermittent and indwelling catheters. We have highly trained nurses with specialisation in urology, and requisite qualification to perform regular catheter changes. It is important for proper urination and functioning of the kidney.
  • Wound Management: Our trained personnel come up with effective management of various complex wounds, which may have been caused by surgery, immobility, trauma injury, burn injury, infections and other medical conditions. The main objective of wound management is enforcement of hemostasis and fast healing and drying.
  • PEG feeding & management: We also offer PEG feeding & management to those who have lost the ability to feed normally. In these cases, a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) surgery is conducted to place a feeding tube, which allows the individual to intake food through the stomach.
  • Enteral feeding Medication management: Our nurses are trained to administer medicines via an external feeding tube. This comes in handy in case of those who have lost the ability to consume medicine orally & normally.
  • Subcutaneous injections: Our nurses would also apply subcutaneous injections for applying mediciness.
  • Enteral feeding & management: Our personnel are also trained to carry out enteral feeding and management, which is all about feeding a person through a tube that takes the food directly to the stomach. This is important to feed the patient.
  • Tracheostomy management: Tracheostomy is a surgical opening performed in the trachea beneath the larynx through which an indwelling tube is placed for overcoming any upper airway obstruction and facilitating mechanical ventilator support. Our personnel are trained to manage the entire mechanism to facilitate normal breathing of the patient.
  • Ventilator Management: Our trained nurses would manage the operation of the life support and ventilation system in case critically ill patients are subjected to life support systems.
